Hit the Jackpot! Is Online Gambling Right for You?

When you were considering what you were going to do over the weekend, this wasn’t what you had in mind. Going to a casino with your friends. While you’re having fun, you have to say that things are a little overwhelming.

You’ve never been comfortable with huge crowds of people. Believe it or not, that’s why online gambling is so popular. You can enjoy the thrill of the games without having to fight to get to them.

You have the choice to play the games with actual money or to take advantage of the free options. These aren’t the only reasons why you should give it a try. Keep reading to learn more.

Convenience

The main online gambling benefits involve convenience. You don’t have to hop on a plane to head to a new destination to play your favorite games.

You’ll have access to them as long as you have a device that can hook up to the internet. You also don’t have to fight a crowd just to get a chance to join a game either. As soon as you go here to play, you’ll be able to hop into a game of your choosing.

There’s More Variety

When comparing an online vs. land-based casino, you’ll find that you have more variety when you go digital. There are literally hundreds of games that you have access to.

When you go to a land casino, you will have plenty of options, but not quite as many. You never know if they’re going to have your favorite one or not.

Online Is Good for Beginners

If you’re a beginner in the gambling world, heading to a live casino might be a little overwhelming. Again, there are tons of crowds, and if you’re not used to the games, there’s a good chance that you’ll lose all the money that you went in with.

An online casino will offer more of a learning curve. You won’t be playing the experienced players face to face, so there’s not quite as much pressure involved.

There Are Free Games

Another reason why an online casino near me is better for a beginner is that you’ll have access to free games. You won’t have to offer up any actual money to play.

This is done in an attempt to get more people interested. It will allow you to get a few practice tries in before you attempt the actual thing.

Safer Environment

Many people stay away from online casinos because they’re scared of their information being stolen. Believe it or not, theft is more likely to happen at a physical place

Many online casino companies have measures in place to keep your bank account info hidden from malicious users.

Try Out Online Gambling

Do you want to try heading to a casino but are a little put off by the crowds? Try out online gambling instead. There are tons of free games available, so you can get your feet wet before you offer up any money.

You’ll get access to your winnings within a day or so without worrying about someone stealing your bank account information, and you can hop into games from anywhere. It’s a no-brainer.

How to Get a Green Lawn: 5 Ways to Really Get Greener Grass on the Other Side

You know how the old saying goes: “the grass is always greener on the other side.”

Luckily for you, that doesn’t have to be the case! You can have the greenest lawn on the block. All it takes is a little TLC and an understanding of how to make grass grow.

If you’re wondering how to get a green lawn, keep reading below. We’ve got five tips that will help you get a beautiful lawn.

1. Know Your Grass Type

Different grass types require different kinds of care. You won’t be able to give your lawn the care it needs until you understand the grass type you are working with. Figuring out your grass type is a vital part of learning how to get green grass.

2. Fertilize

Fertilizer is like food for your lawn. Wondering how to get green lawn grass without fertilizer is like trying to gain weight without eating food!

The best time to apply fertilizer is in the fall. That’s because dormant grass soaks up nutrients in the winter in preparation for the spring.

3. Water Your Grass

Watering is one of the easiest and most important ways to keep your grass healthy. If you’re wondering how to make grass grow, water is a great place to start.

Your exact watering schedule depends on the amount of natural rainfall you get in your area. It’s generally a good idea to water for at least 30 minutes at a time. This way, water penetrates deep into your yard’s soil and encourages your grass to grow long roots.

Automatic sprinkler systems make it easy to set a watering schedule for your lawn. Some companies offer sprinkler repair and installation expertise that can help you get started with a watering system.

4. Test Your Soil pH

Grass grows best in soil with a pH between 6 and 7.2. If your soil is too alkaline or too acidic, your grass will suffer.

To test the pH of your soil, you can collect a small sample of soil and take it to a local pH testing site. Many gardening shops offer testing services.

When you collect the sample, try to take soil from at least three different parts of your yard. This will give you an idea of the overall pH of your entire yard, not just one small area of it.

If the pH in your yard is not ideal, you can correct it with pH treatments. Most of these treatments are applied by directly sprinkling them onto your grass.

5. Keep Researching How to Get a Green Lawn

The best way to get green grass varies depending on factors like location and climate. To find the best lawn care options for your home, you should continue researching how to get green grass in your area. Talk to local garden shops and homeowners and conduct online research specific to the town and the climate where you live.

Enjoy Greener Grass Today

With the tips above, you should have no problem getting a beautiful lawn. Once you understand how to get a green lawn, it’s easy to use your knowledge to improve the appearance of your home. Get started today!

Garage Door Repair Tips: Troubleshooting a Broken Remote

Do you have a garage? Maybe you’ve had one for a while. Or maybe you’ve just upgraded your house and splashed out to purchase a house with a garage for your car. Having a garage door that doesn’t open or close can be an irritating experience for homeowners.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot garage doors to see if the problem requires a quick fix or a professional garage door repair service.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Check the Power Is Off

Before carrying out maintenance or small repairs to a common problem with your garage door, check that the electricity is turned off and the door is in the lowered position. Also be sure to carry out some broken garage door remote troubleshooting.

There is no need to purchase garage doors online. Order online before noon for a convenient schedule and same-day delivery.

Make sure that the opener is plugged into the garage counter in the right place. Make sure your door is not accidentally locked.

The person actuating the emergency release at the garage door. Replace the battery in the keyboard of the remote control. Confirm that you are in the recommended area for using a garage door remote control.

Use The Emergency Cord

If you need to open a garage door that remains closed, pull the emergency release cord, a red rope that hangs from a car. The cord detaches from the car and allows you to open the door.

For safety, you should only pull the cord when the door is in an open position, otherwise, it will crash down. Call the garage door service immediately. A person must enter the code for the garage door opener on the keyboard.

If the garage door opener is hooked up and the door does not close or open, the problem may be an external control such as a wall switch, keyboard, or remote control.

Check, Check and Check Again

Test all checks to see if one is faulty or if the others are working properly. If the opener has a motor or antenna on the remote control, make sure that the antenna is undamaged and in the right position.

A universal garage door remote control works with many openers. Reprogram or reset the remote control from the keyboard by consulting the owner’s manual.

If the remote control battery is used outside the correct range, it may need to be replaced.

A garage door safety sensor is mounted on the side of the garage wall. If the door does not close from close to open, there could be a problem with the safety sensor which is designed to prevent the door from closing on a person or object.

Remember sometimes the problem might be out of your control. Navy ships have been known to block the signals to garage door remotes though they often deny it.  This scenario should form part of your garage door remote troubleshooting.

Wipe It Down

Use a soft cloth or mild cleaner to clean the safety sensors and ensure that no dirt covers the eyes. Wipe away moisture or residues and be careful not to scratch the sensors. Make sure the sensors are aligned correctly with each other and use one layer if necessary.

Strong direct sunlight can affect the performance of the sensors, so make sure that the shade on the sensor is in the shade.

Also make sure that no toys, flowerpots, or other objects interfere with any of the sensors.

Garage Switch Monitor

As a safety feature, the garage door opener should be equipped with a switch on the motor that stops opening or closing. The garage door can be opened or closed in any position. The motor should have a lever or a screw to control the switch.

If the switch is set correctly, it prevents the door from closing or opening in any way. Adjust according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the door will open or close at the desired location.

If a garage door opener does not receive electricity and does not work, it can be a mechanical defect. A person must remove the cover on the engine of the garage door opener.

In this case, the circuit board of the motor must be replaced. If the wagon moves without a door, no part of the wagon is broken and needs to be replaced. If a door does not open but the engine is running, the main drive is broken and needs to be replaced.

Remember that there are options if you need DIY Garage Door Parts such as a garage switch monitor.

Check Chain Tension

If you have a chain that drives the garage door opener make sure the chain is in the right tension – too much tension can cause the chain to slip and the pinions to not pull the trolley round.

If your garage door cable is twisted, the spring is the key component that lifts the garage doors. A garage door spring is attached to the door. If the spring or cable is worn out, a broken one can prevent the door from opening.

If replacing the spring is too dangerous, you should call a door technician. If the garage door opens and closes normally, but the metal rail does not work, the door could be out of alignment.

Adjust The Track

A person wearing gloves can adjust the door to the track. The motor control should still work, but if the door does not open, there may be a problem, such as a door being part of the track or rail.

Align the rail by loosening the screws that hold it to the frame. Use a rubber mallet to bring the splint into the correct position and, if necessary, use a plane to confirm the straightforwardness. Tighten the screws until the rail is aligned.

Too much friction can prevent the door from opening. If the steel or nylon roller conveyor is damaged or rusted, it can prevent movement. In colder climates, grease the rails under the wagon in winter with lithium grease. Or they are lubricated with silicone spray.

Garage Door Repair Services Or Fix The Problem Yourself

You could hire a garage door repair service. But this will cost a lot of money. Another option is to fix a garage door yourself. You can figure out the frequent opening and closing problems.

There are so many quick fixes you can try. From adjusting the track to checking the train tension.

Electric Car Road-Trip

As we know domestic holidays are on the rise, with many destinations on the no-fly list we find ourselves looking to travel by car to local cities, towns and villages. As well as the current situation we find ourselves in, the government also has an initiative to help the environment by banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2030! It is this ban and the latest rise in domestic travel that got LeaseCarUK thinking about road trips by electric car, the challenges one could face, and the best places to travel around the UK when on a road trip.

This article will look at the best places to enjoy a road trip in the UK and share some tips for travelling by electric vehicle.

A Road Trip to Edinburgh

Travelling from England or Wales to Edinburgh can be a long but scenic journey, especially if you know which roads to take. If you are driving from the south, a stop in Oxford can be perfect to stretch your legs, charge your vehicle or to explore the university.

Alternatively, travelling to southwest England and visiting the Cotswold’s is a wonderful scenic experience that all the family can enjoy. The Cotswold’s is perfect for an overnight stay whilst on your journey to Edinburgh.

If you are reluctant to stop early on the journey then powering on to the Scottish Borders will make a welcome break. The Borders are filled with history and scenery as this is where many English and Scottish battles took place.

When travelling such a distance by electric car it is important to check the car’s range. The below visual from LeaseCarUK helps to visualise the range of some of the UK’s top selling electric vehicle’s so that you are aware of how many charging stops will be required for the journey to Edinburgh.

A Road Trip to Cornwall

Cornwall is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK so it is important that we include this destination within this article. Home to beautiful beaches craved by the Atlantic Ocean, surfing opportunities and Cornish pasties, Cornwall is a must visit place.

A stop over in Southampton is perfect when travelling to Cornwall. Southampton is home to amazing maritime history, especially for Titanic enthusiasts. As well as it’s maritime history, visitors can also enjoy the seaside, museums, theatres and parks.

No road trip to Cornwall would be complete without a stop at Stonehenge in Wiltshire. In order to see Stonehenge, you must pay an entrance fee but there is also a visitors’ centre where you can brush up on your history of the famous Neolithic landmark.

To put this journey into perspective when driving an electric vehicle, take a look at the image below.

The UK is home to many scenic drives not mentioned here, such as the Lake District and Peak District. No matter where you are driving from or to, there will be some amazing places to see and stop whilst your vehicle is charging.

The Perfect Porch: How Much Are Windows for a Porch?

Are you thinking of building a porch? Maybe you’ve just purchased a new home and want to make it feel like your own? Or maybe you want to spruce up a home you’ve had for a while.

If so then you’ll need to think about windows for a porch and how much they might cost.

Here’s everything you need to know to about windows for a sunroom porch.

Material and Labour Costs

A porch made of regular mesh materials costs $450 per square foot, excluding labor. Contractors charge a base price of $300, excluding material.

The average labor cost is $110 for the first 32 square feet and $2 to $3 for every square foot thereafter. Companies like Porch Windows Direct offer a fair price.

Another consideration is the cost of labor. This can from $100 to $500 per workplace for a porch with blinds, and repair costs. The severity of the damage will determine the final price.

Repair a torn screen for $450 per square foot with a normal material like mesh or vinyl. A replacement mesh screen (stainless steel or polyester-coated vinyl) costs $0.50 per square foot. By repairing the door frame with a mesh screen, the initial labor costs during the new installation process are covered.

If you have multiple screens that need repair, it is best to renew a complete porch. If you want to change just one screen on your porch it can cost you a lot.

This is why many contractors calculate based on price and project size. The average cost of installing a porch screen by a craftsman is $68 an hour, including labor and materials.

Glass Housing

Glass housings cost between $45 and $65 per square foot for materials and 8.5 hours of work to replace the glass. Mesh screens cost an average of $450 per square meter. A replacement set for the DIY screen costs between $5 and $20.

If a lanai extension to your house has an existing roof, you can fit the screen with glass windows and leave the open courtyard covered. The price of repairing the existing eaves in this room is about $35 per hour. Find out more and compare the ratings of local contractors.

Remember that terraces are designed as an open concept. This suggests that no walls are surrounding the room.

Repairing Damage

If they have extensive damage, a contractor may propose replacing the screens, raising your labor costs to $250 to $300 plus equipment. Remember to go through some checks before you make the decision to replace your windows.

Replacing patio screens will cost about as much as the initial installation price of $450 per square foot of material. For workers, the contractor charges $1 to $3 per square foot as a basic fee.

Material costs for repairing the ceiling in a porch or patio fence can range from $1 to $450 per square foot. Repairing water-damaged ceilings can cost up to $55 per square foot.

The cost includes both labor and materials used. Remember if the ceiling isn’t properly fixed then your windows will take a hit.

For repairs that include shingles or extensions to an existing roof, the general cost for minor repairs is about $200- $400.

Larger jobs are up to $3,000. Material costs depend on the type of construction (wood, steel, aluminum, etc.). To complete your repairs, it is best to clean your enclosure with Powerwash to remove dirt and stains especially if you have windows for a sunroom porch.

Cleaning

External cleaning costs average between $180 and $380. Most repairs in the conservatory consist of broken windows. Depending on the quality of the glass, the cost can range from $150 to $800 – remember there are emerging tech solutions to window cleaning.

A conservatory is a great extension to a lot of homes. However, it needs to be regularly repaired and maintained. A common problem associated with this is that routine and frequent maintenance is rarely enough to extend the life of such a beautiful room.

Routine maintenance will keep your conservatory in prime condition. Don’t forget to include workers, who can cost anything from $500 to $2,000 on top of that.

A conservatory in addition to a house can cost as much as dismantling a conservatory for $50 to $100 an hour. Budget $130 to $350 for cleaning up waste.

After a few months, wash the outer windows. The average cost of cleaning a window is between $150 and $300 in total.

Hire a professional at least once a year to scrub. Every joint in the frame must be free of dirt. How much does cleaning the gutters cost? Up to $250, depending on how many floors there are in your house.

Doors and windows should always be lubricated. When cleaning your gutters, make sure that the ladder is not leaning against them to make sure they are not dented.

The total price depends on how many windows need to be sealed, but the national average is about $250. Condensation forms inside the double-pane glass and the seals wear out when moisture enters the room.

It can be easily repaired and sealed with silicone in a local hardware store.

Installing a New Screen

The total cost of installing a new screen on your porch or patio can range from $600 to $3,500 depending on the material. The national average for most homeowners is about $1,200 overall. This results in a price model of $450 per square meter.

Installing an outdoor fireplace costs between $1,500 and $6,500. Installing a ceiling fan can cost between $60 and $3,000, depending on the type. Adding an outlet costs an electrician $30 to $75 an hour.

You can install an HVAC system in your room at a total cost of between $650 and $4,500, depending on the square footage. This might save you money on energy depending on the windows you choose.

Decorating the conservatory with plants in sunlight is a great way to bring vitality to the room especially if you have the best type of windows.

Windows for a Porch: How Much?

You might think it’s easy to buy windows for a porch and it will only cost you the price of the windows.

There are many extra costs from professional window cleaning to the costs of roof repairs to make sure the structure of the porch remains in place to support the windows.

Business Checking Account Credit Union

Making your hard-earned money work for you as opposed to the other way round is the dream of all business owners, to pay lower fees and rates and to get more rewards and paybacks. To do this though you will need a smart savings and checking account for your company that is well managed, adjusted according to the business needs and financials and that offers the percentages that work with you.

Paying staff is easy enough via bank transfers and direct debits, but receiving money from clients and vendors can often backfire with all the deposit fees and transaction costs that come with depositing cheques or cash deposits, so what do you do?

Firstly, you need to be motivated, this will drive your ambition and take the focus off the costs, see some inspirational words here https://www.oberlo.com/blog/best-inspirational-business-quotes and then find a bank that understands these needs and transactional queries who will help you better understand how to go about smart banking and payment methods.

Account features.

So why is having a specific banking account for your business so important? For starters you would not want to mix up personal and company transactions and payments, it will get messy, complicated, and in the long run, could end up hurting you on both sides of the stick.

Lets’ take a look at the top reasons why successful business entrepreneurs and company CEOs opted to separate the two.

  • Professionalism. Clients won’t be too impressed if you give them a banking address and account details that don’t reflect you as a brand or leader. A banking business cheque or savings account shows you are doing things the right way that this is a legitimate company, and you are serious when it comes to work ethics and being professional.
  • Manage. When you have been in business for a while you will start to notice that the earnings and expenses increase, this is a sign that it is time to open a separate account. It not only allows you to keep track of all essential payments and payouts in one place but you can edit and maintain them based on performance and need.

This is especially true when keeping an eye on staff dealing with the money and accounts, a business checking account credit union could be what your company needs, you want to feel safe and have peace of mind that your earnings are safe and protected.

  • Privacy. Using a company letterhead along with printed brand named cheques and invoices gives customers confidence in you that you are a successful business manager or owner. It also keeps personal information private and away from prying eyes, we can never be too safe when it comes to our financials.
  • Relationship. Anyone who has built something from nothing knows how important a relationship can be with your suppliers and creditors. Showing the bank you are timely with payments and transact professionally instills in them the pride you want for future options.

If they see you manage your account and funds well and with somewhat ease you are more likely to get a line of credit, this could be helpful in the event of an emergency or to expand a growing business (which is always a good sign).

  • Sold. It could be on the cards that a new venture has come up and you are unable to balance both, selling a well-established company is easier if they have their books in order and that their banking procedures are up to date and efficient. A quick look at the books and banking financials could be what makes or breaks the sale.

Saving for a rainy day.

You may not have thought about it or thought it necessary but having that backup financial security blanket is always advisable for businesses, it may be something that is not used for years but readily available if needed.

Having those funds on hand can help pull your business through and out of tough times, and help to grow it when the time is right and the appropriate proposal lands on your doorstep. We can never be too safe or careful in business, it may be that you start with small amounts, this is perfectly fine, and the main objective is that you are planning for a more secure future for you and your company.

Now that you have decided to open the checking business account, what do you need to look for, how do you go about the process without being overwhelmed or pressured into unnecessary ‘frills.’ A crash course essentially can be seen here but for the most part, there are few foundational elements that will get the ball rolling and have you headed in the right direction.

Research.

You will need to do your homework, research the company you’re considering, check their banking fees, perks, and fines, and read the fine print. If possible have your legal team go over the paperwork before you sign anything.

Once they give the go-ahead, you will need to gather the correct documentation and identifications, be sure that these are valid and up to date, if not it could delay the process. Depending on the bank and for some, the generation they grew up in, they might opt to open the account online but rather in-person if you need to ask further questions or have concerns.

If it all goes smoothly and the account has been cleared for use, you are already one step ahead of the game. All you need to do now is deposit your earned funds and build your empire.

Not Cool at All: 9 Signs Your AC Condenser Will Give Out Soon

According to one study, air conditioners use about 6% of all the electricity in the United States.

Clearly, the AC system is very important, so how do you pay attention to when it might be on its way out? The AC condenser can give you plenty of clues.

If you aren’t sure what signs to watch out for, make sure you keep reading so that you can fix your AC before it goes out.

1. Warm Air

One of the first signs that you need to call Schneider Mechanical HVAC repair is if warm air is coming out rather than cool air. This means that the flow of refrigerants might be restricted.

However, the fins of the condenser could also become instructed or damaged, which would reduce the condenser’s performance.

2. AC Leak

If there is a blockage, it could also be leaking which means that the AC condenser unit will need to be either repaired or replaced. Unless you look closely, you probably won’t notice a leak.

Sometimes there is a dye included in the refrigerant so that the fluid will be a bright color and you’ll be able to notice quickly.

3. Dirty Unit

If you notice that the unit is getting dirty, then it might be clogged. This means that it won’t be able to properly cool the air because the debris will block an even flow of heat transfer.

If you want to clean your condenser, you can start by making sure it has enough room to breathe. You might want to try removing the dirt and weed from it.

To avoid getting it dirty and clogged in the future, make sure you have someone come out and do regular maintenance on it.

4. Won’t Turn On

If your condenser is broken, the pressure in the system might be too high. If this happens, the HVAC won’t even turn on to make sure that it doesn’t damage your HVAC system even more.

If you think this is the case, you should go to your electrical service panel and check to make sure that a fuse isn’t blown first. If the switch is somewhere in the middle, you may have a problem with your electrical system rather than your HVAC.

5. Overheating

If you don’t have enough refrigerant going through your air conditioner, it won’t get rid of all the heat that the system generates. When that happens, the heat will build up and ruin your HVAC.

This could be a sign that it’s not going to last very much longer, and you should call a professional as soon as possible because it could pose a fire hazard.

6. Smells Bad

Have you walked into your home lately and noticed that there have been unpleasant smells? If you track the odor to your HVAC system, you should deal with the issue before it gets even worse.

You can call a professional out, and they can tell you quickly whether you need a full cleaning session, a slight tune-up, or a full replacement.

One method that they will use to test your air conditioner is an ultraviolet lamp. This will show you if you have any microbial growth on your air conditioner. All you might need to do is replace your air filter, but they may also have to have someone clean your ducts to help the smell.

7. Poor Airflow

While your air might be blowing out of the vents, is it blowing out hard enough to actually cool your home? Poor airflow is a sign that there is a blockage or your AC isn’t working as efficiently as it could be.

If you find that this is a common problem but you aren’t ready to replace your HVAC system, you could also try using an energy-recovery ventilator. This will help to boost your air conditioner.

It works by exchanging some of the stale air for some fresh air whenever your HVAC system starts over again. This can also help you cool down certain zones of your home rather than paying to heat the entire home.

Plus, you’ll also get good airflow in the areas that you really need the most.

8. High Humidity Levels

Even if there is a lot of humidity outside, you shouldn’t be dealing with it inside your home as well. Your air conditioner is actually designed to help moderate the level of humidity that is in your home.

If your cooling system can’t help keep the moisture level at a good range, you’ll likely need a repair or a replacement.

9. Higher Energy Bills

Another sign that your condenser isn’t working is that your energy bills start costing you more and more. While it’s normal to have your bills cost more in the summer rather than the winter, you should have a good idea of the average price that it costs to cool your home.

While having a professional come out to look at your HVAC system might be expensive, it will help you save in the long run by lowering your energy bill each month.

Discover More Signs of an AC Condenser On Its Way Out

These are only a few signs that your AC condenser is on its way out, but there are many more signs to watch out for.

We know that dealing with AC problems can be stressful, but we’re here to help you out.

Frustration-Free Packaging on Amazon: What Is It and How Does It Work?

Whether you buy items from the store or online, some product packaging can make opening it an extremely frustrating experience.

Amazon offers a wide array of products featured in something called frustration-free packaging, but what exactly does this term mean?

Read on to learn more about the ins and outs of Amazon frustration-free packaging and how it works to make life easier for customers.

What is Frustration-Free Packaging?

The term frustration-free packaging refers to items that are sold online via Amazon and shipped to the consumer. This packaging keeps the product inside safe during shipping to prevent it from becoming damaged while still being easy to open.

In most cases, this type of packaging comes in a smaller box that holds lightweight items. The boxes are extremely easy to open, resulting in a better customer experience while also reducing excess waste.

Retailers and sellers enrolled in the FFP (Frustration-Free Packaging) program use 100% recyclable packing materials. This means that you’re not just getting a better experience, but you’re also helping to contribute to a cleaner environment.

Amazon introduced this type of packaging over ten years ago to help lower costs, reduce waste, and ensure happy customers. Thousands of sellers are now part of the program which includes offering more sustainable packaging options like moving smaller items from cardboard boxes to slim recyclable mailers.

The selection of boxes used to ship Amazon items is now more appropriate based on an item’s weight and size. This has resulted in the elimination of hundreds of thousands of tons of wasted packaging materials.

Certification of Packaging for Amazon Sellers

In order to offer this type of packaging to customers, sellers on Amazon must be certified. Once you’re listed as certified frustration free packaging, you can begin to include this information on your listing so consumers can clearly see that you’re part of the program.

Amazon has been offering this option since 2015, but there are new guidelines put in place as of 2021. There are several steps that must be followed in order for sellers to qualify for the program.

To start, you’ll need to find out the dimensions of your product while it’s in the current packaging. The total length, width, and height of the item and its packaging should be measured and recorded.

Amazon SKUs cannot be heavier than 20 pounds, and they cannot be larger than 18″ x 14′ x 8″. That’s why measuring your product first is such an important step.

The next step in the process involves improving your current packaging design so that it’s ready and able to ship in its own container. As the size of your packaging is reduced, the more incentives you’ll receive from Amazon.

There are two types of certification for this type of packaging: Tier 1 FFP and Tier 2 SIOC. You can get more information about the individual certification requirements directly from Amazon. They also offer access to packaging design agencies in the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier (APASS) network.

In some cases, vendors will need to eliminate or reduce the use of non-recyclable materials like styrofoam and other things that are not curbside recyclable. Other factors include how products are oriented inside the packaging to protect them while saving space and excess material usage.

Performance Tests

To be certified for this type of packaging, it also has to pass a special physical performance test. For any product that is not fragile or liquid, sellers can perform a self-testing drop sequence. The test reports must be submitted to Amazon for review.

Anything that is considered fragile such as glass, ceramic, clay, or liquid must undergo the ISTA-6A test. This test is required via the Amazon packaging lab, or you may use a third-party lab.

During performance testing, the lab will simulate the journey of a package and how it moves through the Amazon Fulfillment Network. The goal is to determine how to retain and improve the customer experience.

More Frustration-Free Packaging Requirements

After all of the previous requirements have been met, it’s time to measure the new dimensions of your certified packaging. You’ll do the exact same thing you did prior by measuring the outer dimensions of the product in its new packaging.

Record the measurements and use the calculator to determine what your incentive amount will be. It’s important to note that anything you ship that can easily be damaged will need extra space for padding to keep the item protected in transit.

Make sure that you upload your new certification to Amazon’s Vendor Central. This ensures that your information is securely stored in the database and serves as proof that you are now officially certified to offer frustration-free packaging to customers.

While it seems like a daunting process, being able to offer this option is a great thing not just for the environment, but also for Amazon vendors. You’ll be able to reduce waste, make your customers happy, and make some extra money in the process.

Goodbye Frustration

If you are an Amazon vendor, consider getting certified to offer frustration-free packaging to your customers. Not only will this option make packages easier to open, but it will also reduce excess waste and put some extra money in your pocket.

Make sure that you check the Amazon guidelines frequently to ensure that you’re able to certify your packaging according to the current rules.

7 High Impact Ways to Generate Organic Traffic to Your Website

Did you know that at least 3.5 billion web searches are done each day? Even harnessing the smallest amount of that traffic can drastically increase your leads and sales. But how do you go about getting quality organic traffic?

There are a number of ways to do this, though it is not as easy as many people make out. Read on as we discuss seven ways to increase organic traffic to your website.

1. High Volume and Low Competition Keywords

Keywords are essential to organic traffic generation. These are the search terms people are typing into Google and other search engines. If you create content and no one is searching for it, then you are not going to get the traffic you desire.

However, it is not as simple as targeting the most searched-for terms. These often have the most competition, which is often taken by the largest websites. For example, are you really going to compete with major, established sports brands on a search for red sneakers?

That is why the most valuable keywords are ones with high search volume but low competition. Lots of people are searching for the terms, but very few people are serving up answers to the request. This means more traffic for your site.

Bear in mind that these terms can change. Low competition keywords do not stay low competition for long, so you must constantly check back and update them.

2. Optimize Your Google Business Profile

This entry only works for those who have a physical business or service. Google Business is an excellent free tool, that brings up local businesses in answer to questions in a local area. For example, typing in ‘restaurants near me’ will bring up the best-rated eateries in your area.

Start by making sure all of your details on the page are up to date and correct. Then concentrate on reviews. Respond professionally to any negative comments and thank good reviewers for their service.

You could also inform customers to visit your Google page and leave a review. This makes your business and its services more credible.

The best thing about Google Business is that once people see your entry, they only have two choices. The first is to visit the website, driving traffic. If they don’t, then they will most likely go to the physical premises, bringing them even closer to making a purchase.

3. Write Guest Posts

As one of the most popular traffic generation strategies, writing guest posts is a great advantage for all involved. The premise is that you write a post that goes on someone else’s website. While it sounds counterproductive, it has a huge number of benefits.

The first is it gives you a lot of exposure. People come to see your name and recognize you as an expert in the field. Later when they need a related product or advice, your name will be one they search.

In addition to this, your post should contain a backlink to your own website. Backlinks raise your SEO score, as they are essentially a recommendation to search engines from other websites. The better the authority of the site you guest post on, the better it is for your SEO score.

Finally, the person who owns the website gets free content. In fact, there are many websites that get a lot of traffic just from posting other’s content and trading off their high authority.

4. Post to Social Media

Social media is a great way to increase website traffic organically, but it is not as easy to master as people think. With so much content on social media, it can be hard to gain a foothold. This is why it is important to open a page and post to it regularly, building a following.

Don’t go for every social media channel. Instead, pick one or two and try to own them. Get quality content and respond to comments, building communication between you and the audience.

5. Get on Podcasts

There are multiple podcasts that have sprung up recently. This is down to a huge desire for them. 44% of the US population listens to podcasts, making it a great way to reach your target audience.

However, starting your own podcast requires a lot of work. You need specialist equipment and time to edit the podcast. Instead, reach out to others and try to get a spot on their productions.

6. Write for Readers

There are endless website traffic tactics about how you should write to increase search engine traffic. However, what they fail to address is that writing for search engines will get you nowhere. You need to write for people, most notably your specific audience.

Know the language and keywords they use, both in everyday life and search queries. Tie all of your content into your demographic. This is more likely to make it enjoyable and, thus, sharable.

7. Get Organic Traffic Assistance

Getting more organic traffic is not an easy task. In fact, it can be extremely frustrating and daunting. That is why many companies choose to pay a third party to do this for them.

There are lots of excellent websites, such as seoclerk.com, that can do this for you. With very reasonable prices, you should look at how much time this will save you and measure up the cost. Good SEO takes a lot of time, effort, and knowledge to implement correctly.

Keep on Going

These tips will get you organic traffic, but they are not something you can do and forget about. SEO leads to organic traffic, and that can not be done then forgotten about. You need to embed it in everything you do, working consistently to make gradual gains.

10 Most Common Signs Of Bed Bugs You Should Know About

Are you worried that bed bugs are infesting your home?

Despite their size, bed bugs can be quite an inconvenience to any household. While they don’t spread any dangerous disease, bed bug bites can be irritating and painful depending on how your body reacts to them. What’s worse is that a small number of bed bugs can quickly grow into an infestation.

This is why it’s important to get rid of the bed bugs in your home before they spread. How would you know if they’re present in the household, though?

What’s great is that bed bugs leave many signs of their presence in your home. Below are the 10 most common ones. Read on to know whether these pests are in your house today.

1. Unexplained Bites

You’ll likely find out that bed bugs are present in your home this way. Small, reddish spots may appear around your body. Often, they’ll appear on your extremities, first.

Your arms and legs will often get covered with these bites first. They attract more bites since they’re easier for bed bugs to access. They won’t risk getting close to your torso unless there are a lot of them.

These normally aren’t much of a problem. They only itch or are sensitive when touched. However, it can be much more of a problem when you’re suffering from psoriasis, too.

2. Blood Spots on Your Bed

How to tell bed bugs have recently fed? You’ll notice that there are flecks of blood on your mattress or pillow. They’ll often appear close to where you’ll find bites on your body.

Blood often stains your bed because bed bugs don’t have any means to stop blood flow while feeding. They often engorge themselves when feeding, too.

Since they’re active mostly at night, their prey is asleep when they feed. This means there’s no risk to them over-eating and becoming slower.

3. Insect Husks Around Your Home

You’ll also find insect husks around your home when you have bed bugs living with you. As bed bugs feed, they grow larger, often outgrowing their shells. This prompts them to molt their shells so they can grow new ones that are bigger.

Their leftover shells have a deep red color, similar to that of an American cockroach. If you find husks that are around 5cm big, then bed bugs are your best bet.

4. Dead Bed Bugs Across the Floor

You will often find dead bed bugs across your floor. These are often the bug carcasses of female bed bugs that didn’t survive the mating season. This is the case because of how they reproduce.

They go through a traumatic insemination process. Males stab them through their abdomen with their genitalia. In some cases, the female doesn’t survive the encounter and dies before reproducing.

While this may look like a good sight to see, remember that these are rare cases. There may be other female bugs pregnant in your house.

5. You Find Egg Clusters In Your Home

Bed bug eggs look like small grains of rice. You’ll often find these eggs clumped together. IF you’re lucky enough, you’ll catch these egg clusters before they hatch.

If not, though, then it means a new generation of bed bugs are crawling around your home. It’s best to call professional extermination services to get rid of them in this case.

6. You Smell a Coriander-Like Scent

Bed bugs release a pheromone that many people liken to coriander. What’s unfortunate is that this isn’t always the case. The smell they produce depends on where they live and what they eat.

Often cases report that they smell like spoiled raspberries or moldy clothing. What’s worse is that you may not be able to smell it at first. The scent they release is weak at first but will grow stronger as they grow in number.

7. Movement Around the Carpet or Bed Frame

Unlike most household insects, bed bugs don’t have wings or the ability to do powerful jumps. They’re one of the few true bugs that only crawl from place to place.

Given that they’re around the size of an apple seed, they’re easy to spot when crawling on the floor. This is especially when the color palette of your home contrasts theirs.

There’s a downside to seeing them like this, though. Only matured bed bugs, those who are in the later parts of the bed bug stages, crawl around like this. If you see these around your home, there’s a good chance there are younger ones hiding until the night comes.

8. Paint Starts Peeling From the Wall

Paint peeling off of the wall can be a sign of a bed bug infestation. This s because they like hiding in dark places when building their nest. This includes small cracks and crevices made by furniture.

One way to get rid of them is by sealing all the cracks in your home. If you find a nest hiding behind peeling paint, glue it down and the nest should die off.

9. Fecal Stains Around the House

One of the more obvious bed bug signs is the fecal stains they leave behind. These have a dark and rusty color and are often smeared around your mattress or pillowcase.

These are what remains of the blood they drank after they got what they needed from it. Along with their other excrements, these tend to smell rancid even when small in size.

10. Seams on Your Mattress Become Undone

Bed bugs seek warmth when looking for areas to nest. This is why they prefer your bed as your body heat makes it an attractive living area to them.

To hide from you, they often live in the seams of your mattress. This is why it’s important to check whether the seams become undone. Bed bugs will undo the seams to make room for their nest.

Once you see this in your bed, it can mean that bed bugs have already made their nest there. Either that or your mattress is old. Regardless, it’s time to swap it out for a new one.
