eClinicalWorks’s CEO and Co-Founder Girish Kumar Navani as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year

The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Recognizes entrepreneurial excellence in the healthcare technology category. In Westborough, Massachusetts on June 17, 2009 eClinicalWorks disclosed that CEO and co-founder Girish Navani received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the healthcare technology category for New England.

According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award aims to reward highly acclaimed entrepreneurs who have been creating and directing progressive and fast-growing businesses. Navani was chosen by a panel of judges for his work in the world of healthcare IT. The prestigious award was presented at a gala event at the Marriott Newton Hotel on June 16th that year.

In his acceptance speech, Girish Kumar Navani acknowledged that he was extremely honored to receive the award. He then proceeded to thank the employees for their commitment and the customers for their trust and loyalty. He attributed receiving the reward to all their efforts, and not just his own forthcomings.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award was celebrating their 23rd anniversary in 2009. The aim of the program is to acknowledge entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in aspects such as innovation, financial excellence, and deep engagement to their businesses and communities.

Girish Kumar Navani clearly exemplified all of these things at that time and still continues to do so today, one full decade later. He remains a leading innovator in the world of healthcare technology and his company has made some major leaps – and taken some major risks – within the industry.

Kristin Keating, Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur of the Year Program Co-Chair for New England, expressed so much pride on the part of Ernst and Young to award the accomplishments of Girish Navani. She could not have been happier to award this man with the title of New England Entrepreneur of the Year and still feels prideful to this day.

She added that the winners of the Entrepreneur of the Year recipients are among those who build leading businesses and significantly add to the vitality of the region’s economy. It is through their successes that allow the each area to grow stronger within the field of healthcare technology.

As a New England award winner that year, Navani also qualified for inclusion in the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 National Program. Award winners in the varied national classes, together with the national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year recognized winner, were announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2009.

The awards are the peak event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of fast -growth, market-leading companies. The fact that Navani was awarded this, even ten years ago, speaks to his enormous value in the healthcare IT industry. He continues to evolve with the constantly changing trends of technology and is able to implement these trends within eClinicalWorks.

Patrick Dwyer Merrill Lynch – The Dolphin’s Greatest Moments

Patrick Dwyer Merrill Lynch financial advisor and a man who gives just about everything that he has to his career has something which he adores far more than his career, much like many of us do. That something special is of course pro-football and in particular the greatest team on the planet, the Miami Dolphins. Patrick and I have been going to games together for as long as I can remember and it is our opportunity to forget about our day-jobs, and let it all out. We were talking recently about our favorite Dolphins moments, take a look at our top picks and see what you think.

Breaking the Streak

In the 1985 season the Chicago Bears were looking to achieve the perfect season and they had the stomping offense and the brick wall-defense which they felt would be enough to get them over the line, that was until they came to Miami of course. The Bears would have been the first team to do this since a certain franchise had achieved it in 1972, but they would come unstuck when they visited the Dolphins, beating the Bears and keeping their record in tact.

Dan Marino

Marino may not have lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy for the Dolphins but on the two occasions when he broke the records for most passing TDs, one in a season and the other of all-time, the Dolphins fans celebrated like he had just won that ring which he coveted so much. The greatest player doing the very greatest of things, two of the greatest Dolphin moments.

Shula Breaking Records

Marino wasn’t the only one to smash records and in 1993 it was coach Don Shula who broke the record of most career wins by a head coach, as the Dolphins eased past the Philadelphia Eagles. Shula’s career winning percentage for the ‘Fins was an incredible .659, something which we won’t see surpassed for some time to come.

Repeat?

After that vintage season in 1972 the pressure was very much on the shoulders of all Dolphins players and fans to try and get somewhere close to what they had done the previous year. With everything to lose the Dolphins stepped up and managed to lose just 2 games on their was to their second Championship in as many years, the pressure only seemed to spur this team on to push harder and work smarter, and another Super Bowl was the prize.

Perfection

There is little more that can be said about the 1972 perfect season, a startling achievement which will live on forever in the annuls of history. No team had pulled off the perfect season until Don Shula decided that his roster would be the one to just that, watching Shula carried off the field on the player’s shoulders after that Super Bowl is one which will live long in the memory for every ‘Fins fan, including us.

Any changes you’d make to this greatest moments list? Let us know in the comments below or use the Action Life Media Contact Page.

The Need to Train Your Company’s Executive Team

You promote the best people in the company to a leadership role. You want them to use their skills and knowledge to benefit the business further. You screen the candidates thoroughly by using different standards. You need to check their dedication to the success of the company and how great they are at their job. You might also want to know if they are better off staying in the same post or if they should be elevated to a higher role.

Once you have formed your management team, it is still crucial for you to train them. You cannot expect that they understand everything right away. It is also unrealistic if you hope for them to succeed overnight.

Hence, it might be an excellent idea to consider hiring an HR firm to provide executive training. These firms have experts in the field and are capable of extending their expertise to companies like yours.

The good thing about hiring experts is that they know what they are doing based on their experience. They will not offer random tips that do not make sense. They will also tailor the training based on the needs of your company and the nature of the industry.

There is a lot more to learn

Even if you have experienced employees bumped up to a leadership post, they will not necessarily be effective. They are yet to have experience leading a team. They might need assistance to that end. These employees might be excellent at a specific task, but now that they are leading a team, they need to have an idea about what everyone else in their team is doing. You will be equipping them to take the lead through executive training.

Training teaches humility

Another thing you want to avoid is turning these leaders into monsters who are so full of themselves. For those who got bumped to a leadership role for the first time, the title could quickly go to their heads. Therefore, you want them to undergo training for them to stay grounded. They will realise that they are yet to learn a lot. They cannot rest on their laurels since leadership requires further training and polishing. As team leaders, they also need to be humble enough to listen to the people below them; otherwise, they will keep receiving complaints from their subordinates.

It is a long journey

Being a team leader requires patience too. Success does not happen overnight. It is vital to keep working hard to achieve significant goals. Even then, the goals will keep moving higher, and the need to work hard does not end. If these chosen leaders are not willing to undergo training, it is a sign that you chose the incorrect person for the job. You need someone else who is patient and does not mind receiving training from other people.

Training the executive team is a crucial part of how to create a HR strategy. It is only one of the many aspects to look into if you wish to build a strong team.

Tips on Finding the Perfect Office Space

Any business venture needs a space where you can work on things that relate to your business; accounting, payroll, product orders, etc. Running a business requires meticulous organisation so that the company runs smoothly. You can set up an office in your home, or you can look for space somewhere your clients can come to you quickly to discuss business. But scouting an office space can be a task, as you have to consider several things to land the perfect office space for your company. Here are some tips that can help you.

Hire a realtor

A realtor knows the ins and outs of real estate in your area. You can hire Gerald Eve services to help you look for potential office space. It may set you back a good amount, but if you want to get a nice office in a prime spot, a realtor will be of great help. They will give you options based on your preferences and requirements, such as the location, your budget, the area of the office and a lot more. You can narrow down your options to land the best one.

Take note of the nature of your business

The nature of your business is another consideration. If your company deals with manufacturing products, your office space should be big enough to accommodate all the equipment, machinery, and cubicles for the employees, etc. There must be enough space for each component, so it is safe and productive for everyone in the company. If your business is providing services, then you don’t need a big office for equipment. Poor planning of your office space may lead to poor productivity and can also be dangerous for everyone.

Value for money

Rent should be commensurate to the location, area and overall condition of the office space. It is wise to set a budget that you can work on when looking for space. This way you don’t go way over budget and compromise other expenses for your office.

Pick the right location

The right location will get you more clients. An area where there is heavy foot traffic is good for business. Potential clients can just walk into your office when they see your sign. You will also attract more clients if you make your business visible, like using colourful signage and posters.

Read the terms and the fine print

Do not just go over your contract and sign at the bottom. Because more often than not a leasing contract has some items that you have to read over and over to make sure that your company and the less or will both benefit from the agreement. Discuss each item with the realtor or the owner of the space.

You need to take time to scour your preferred area in the city for good office space. And once you find the right one for your business, comes the task of setting it up ready for operation. If you have money to spare for an interior designer, that would be a reasonable expense; otherwise, you can pool your effort together with your staff to decorate your office. You can take inspiration from the Internet for ideal office interior design ideas.

Reasons Why You Need to Invest in Shirts for Advertising

Using t-shirts to advertise is not a new idea. Several companies used it in the past. Despite the advent of other marketing strategies, many businesses still rely on shirts to reach out to a lot of people. These are some reasons why it is a smart move to still invest in free shirts to promote your business.

You need to give your customers more reasons to come back

Some customers want to get more out of what they are paying. If all competing brands could provide the same products, customers will decide based on which of the companies could give them their money’s worth. Giving them free shirts will make them realise that the business cares about them and they will not hesitate to come back. They use the products bought, plus they receive a quality shirt.

You are advertising for free

Anyone who wears the shirts you hand out for free effectively becomes your brand ambassador. You usually pay people to promote your company or serve as a model for your brand. When you hand out shirts, you only spend money on promotional merchandise. You do not need to pay any person to help you with advertising.

It helps to start a conversation

When someone is wearing a shirt, and another person sees it, the business could be a conversation starter. It does not matter whether all parties will agree to say something positive. The goal is to start a discussion with your business at the heart of it.

You can sponsor huge events

Marathons, medical missions, sporting events, and concerts usually receive tremendous media coverage. Imagine if you sponsored these events by handing out the official shirt. You do not even need to have a large logo printed on the shirt. It is enough for the media to know that you willingly sponsored the event. The word will spread, and it is positive press for your business.

Endless promotion

Imagine if you distributed a hundred shirts within a city. If at least half of these recipients wore the shirt, and they walked around various places, a lot of people could see your company name and logo. The good thing is that you continuously remind others who are yet to come to the fold to consider buying your products.

You are changing the image of your company

One of the reasons why it is difficult for some people to support businesses is that they think that all companies are the same. They are only after the customer’s money. When you are handing out free shirts, you are not necessarily after money. You want to also give back to those who supported your business and those who are yet to purchase products in the future.

You can consider Liverpool city t shirt printing considering the popularity of printed shirts in the city. Be smart in determining the designs to make them appealing to a lot of people. You can come up with new designs after a while if you intend to use this strategy even further.

3 Technologies that will Change Schools in the Future

There are lots of cues in technological trends that lend credence to the future of education. From high-speed internet connectivity, digitized classrooms to newfound ways of doing research, students of the future will experience learning in never-seen before ways. For example, technologies will combine to create powerful education systems, in which case, going to school would become null and void.

You may have wondered why learning institutions now emphasize STEM subjects more than humanities, but, that’s a topic for another day.

Now, given that the future of learning would be incomplete without technology, it is time students started embracing subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It is because today’s civilization is more interested in invention and innovation than anything else. You will realize, for example, that most custom paper help services now emphasize help in Maths, science, engineering and technology. Thus, it is a feature you might want to consider next time you to pay for Cheap Essay Writing service.

In this post, learn about three most-forefront technologies that will change schools in future.

Augmented Reality (AR)

Augmented Reality is without a doubt, a vital technological necessity in academia. You cannot rule it out from being part of education in the future. While AR is now more applicable in gaming industry, it continues to make an impact in learning as well.

The same way payers feel part of actions in esports battle games, student too are already have a lot to write home about. Moreover, with several instances of AR implementation in schools around the world, future of academia landscape can only get better.

In many ways, Augmented Reality already has a huge impact on learning. For example, teachers are now able to engage students at higher and deeper levels. It combines edutainment and learning to bring about a new approach in schooling known as gamification. With Oculus and Google Cardboard at the center of these developments, students will be able to examine virus-causing diseases in a virtual environment using disruptive eyewear.

3D printing

Technology is the focal point of human civilization, especially now and in the future. With 3D printing, another disruptive technology changing academia, instructional learning is getting a facelift. For example, being able to touch space bodies, internal human organs and single-celled organisms in 3D printouts is very reassuring, technically, the future of printing.

Cloud Computing

In every way you look at it, cloud computing is an advanced approached to digitizing classrooms. From learning in virtual settings, retrieving learning materials online with speed to interacting with teachers from anywhere, the rate at which Internet of Things (IoT) continues to change schools is baffling.

Smart gadgets will take this interactivity to higher levels. In a nutshell, cloud computing is not only positively disruptive in academic sense but also the future of learning.

The Bottom Line

Without technology, the future of learning would be bleak and fuzzy. From digital classrooms, websites where I can find help with my assignments, learning gadgets to artificial intelligence (AI), edtech is the future of interactivity learning sessions between teachers and students.

Bachelorette Party Male Strippers – How to Hire One

This article features a few hints on the most proficient method to contract and take full advantage of services offered by a stripper. It is fundamental to prepare. You should include things like:

  • Will you go to the dancer or will he come to the booked venue?
  • Is the venue big enough?
  • Will you be responsible for transport?

First Things First

  • What precisely would you like to see? Kindly don’t give the law a chance to cloud your judgment here. Infringing upon the law at a bachelorette party is not bad, but at the same time not enough to blow anyone’s mind.
  • Ask Around – There will be that person who has the details on strippers more than they ought to know. Discover which of your companions spends time in strip clubs and discover how much they know. Be cautious though, staffs are changed frequently at strip clubs. The best strippers that were there a year ago could be filled with rookies now. This is also valid for companies like Majesty Male Strippers that offer home stripper services.
  • Get Things in Writing – This written agreement is all you will have if the stripper doesn’t perform, is 4 hours late, doesn’t come, and so forth. Keep in mind, you are managing sketchy people here.
  • Ask for Pictures – It is a good idea to ask for pictures to see whom you are requesting. But you might need to go to their office, however, it is worth it. You get to have 5 minutes to check out hot hunks.
  • Be Tough When You Call – talking to an agency on phone is your one chance to negotiate the fees. Once the stripper is at your place and most of your friends are drunk, you won’t be able to negotiate. Then, you will have the option to contact another agency if you are not fine with their fees.
  • Don’t pay 100% upfront – The easiest way for these agencies to scam you is to give you a cash advance on your card. Obviously, there will be additional charges. The final bill might end up higher than 1000 dollars. No one remembers budget when the dancers are strutting in their faces. Only go to the party with money that you can afford to spend. Keep an additional 20 bucks in your purse.
  • Tattoos or No Tattoos – Do you like strippers with tattoos. If you have being in a strip club before, you will notice that people splurge on strippers with tattoos the most. Well, it is more of a personal choice, maybe they are just more fun and adventurous.

Possible Disappointments

  • Late stripper. Though strippers are always late, you should expect him to be an hour late. It may be a smart thought to plan that he leaves your party in time for his next appointment.
  • Bad seats. Call the strip bar early to get good seats. An opportunity to argue over seats isn’t possible once you are there already.
  • Ugly stripper. If you live in remote areas, be prepared to mostly find unattractive strippers. Not every hot guy is eager to strip for cash.
  • Boring routine. Ensure something interesting will occur to the bride. Most dancers have a “snare”. It could be the part where he drizzles tequila on her stomach and licks it off. Ensure it is something great.
  • Stripper not focusing on the bride. Ensure the stripper knows who the lady of the night is.

Tips for when you are at the party

  • Leave the thong alone. Male strippers, for the most part, utilize a cock ring or “tie it off” to stay erect. Let’s be honest, moving before drunk ladies isn’t a turn on after the initial multiple times. So you should probably stay away from his thong if you don’t want to see the necessary device he is using.
  • Don’t throw money at him. The stripper can’t tell if you have a fiver or not from afar.
  • Keep the cash close by instead of wasting it by throwing it at the stripper. Rather ask for a favor and tip them
  • Roll the cash and put in the bride’s cleavage.
  • Or put it in the jean pocket of the brie or another friend and yell come get it.
  • You can also choose to put the money behind the bride’s ear.
  • Get lap dances in reserved areas – That way no one else can tell what occurred. Who needs to state that you squandered twenty bucks just for a feel? Plus, you will be able to lewd stories to friends the next day.

  • Gigolos – not really advisable. Regardless of whether you have believed that it is fun, have you thought about these variables:
  • Your friends might all want a share of the pie
  • You may not be the only one he will serve. Hell, you probably won’t be in the initial ten.
  • They fake everything.
  • You truly aren’t that great.
  • You are an inch away from possibly getting STDs. Read article for more info: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3154252/
  • Spin Stories – Always do 2 things when recounting the night event to your better half or sweetheart:
  • Include one more clothing to what the dancer was wearing. State that he had a thong if he was naked but say they had a trouser on if they had just a thong.
  • Never mention anything naughty, rather accentuate the cute things that happened.
  • Dodge Upsells – Do not purchase anything for the dancers. Upselling means using skills to get clients to go out of their budget once they step into the club. First, you pay for the entrance fee, then a cold large beer, followed by a lap dance for 10 dollars, private dance for 20 dollars, and a 10-dollar drink for the stripper. If you want to get into a shower with 2 hot dancers, you will be charged a minimum of 100 dollars. Before you know it, your card is maxed.

If you haven’t considered hiring a stripper for the party. Just think about when next will you be able to touch a half-naked guy with a banging body. Exactly, just go for it and have fun. The good part is that anything that happens at such a party stays there.

Office Space Planning 101: A Guide To The Future Of Office Planning

If you’re curious about the future of office space planning, continue reading to discover a few of the key factors which are currently influencing office planning and design!

Office space planning 101:

1. Open planned office spaces will promote higher levels of team work

While in the past decades most office spaces were based around grid style cubicles, where each staff member would work independently, in the future expect to see a shift towards open planned offices. That will feature large office tables, where small groups of staff members will be able to work on projects together.

Also instead of each office worker having their own set space to work, in the future office workers will work at a different desk each day, depending on which individuals they are working on projects with.

Also expect to see more communal office areas, where staff members will be able to socialise in their breaks and to strategise together during office hours. As an example, many office spaces are already offering informal lounge areas which offer bean bags or sofas where individuals can work or hold informal meetings.

2. Health and safety in the workplace will become an even more important consideration for office planners and designers

As it’s in the best interests of employees and business owners to ensure that staff members remain safe and healthy at all times, office designers and planners will try to find innovative solutions for office design, that will prevent office accidents. Health and safety are number one! Finding support and expertise from guides and resources like the ones at Citation.co.uk can be used as an aid to improve your safety needs.

As examples, office planners may choose to choose office furniture such as table, desk and chairs which boast ergonomic features that will prevent staff members from developing sore backs or sore necks and wrists.

Alternatively some office planners around the world are already incorporating small yoga studios or recreation rooms, which feature items such as ping pong tables into their workspaces, to encourage their employees to be active. Which will significantly decrease their chances of sustaining a nasty, long term injury.

3. Shared community office spaces will become more prevalent

You may have noticed that there are more and more shared community office spaces opening in your city. These spaces allow entrepreneurs to be able to meet clients and hold meetings, without having to lease a permanent office space.

4. There will be a greater number of staff members who telecommute to work

While in the past few decades the vast majority of office workers would physically commute to and from an office every day, in more recent times, many offices allow their staff members to telecommute to work a few days per week. While they may turn up to their office on the days where they have important business meetings to attend or are set to work on a group project, with other team members in their workplace.

So in the coming years it will be just as important for workers to set up workable office spaces in their own homes, where they’ll be able to work efficiently without procrastinating or getting distracted by other individuals in their household.

Hopefully you found the above guide to the future of office planning highly informative and have a few ideas on how to design a modern, future proof office space.

Well, you can build your own bike too, if you fancy. And you can do that at Six Three Zero. With their unique Customizer feature, you choose your color, speed and accessories, just like a canvas but for your bike, and Six Three Zero will build it for you and deliver it to your doorstep.

A hybrid bike is a good choice if you’re mainly using your bike for commuting to and from work, maybe with the odd bit of recreational riding during the weekend. Hybrid bikes are ideal for riders just getting in to cycling: the best hybrid bikes will be good enough to cope with all sorts of terrain and surface without fuss, hopefully helping you to enjoy your cycling and get more involved in this great sport.

But what should you be looking for to make sure you get the best bang for your buck?

Features to expect on a hybrid bike include:

1. Compared to road bikes, the best hybrid bikes will come with wider tires. The width will vary, but it will generally be something between 28mm and 42mm. Not only will this help to improve comfort, ironing out any rough surfaces, but will also add to the level of grip when the roads are wet.

2. All of the best hybrid bikes should come with eyelets in the frame that will allow it to take a pannier rack.

3. You should also find a hybrid bike that has plenty of clearance between the frame and the tire to enable you to fit mudguards, as well as eyelets so you can fit ones with better coverage, rather than flimsy clip on ones.

Bicycles are freedom. They provide everything that you need – exercise, fun, transportation, and meditation all in one. Before you head to the bike shop to choose your favorite bike from a range of city bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain bikes, it’s helpful if you equip yourself with all the little details that will make the bike buying process easier.

Benefits of Owning A Motorcycle

Owning and riding a motorcycle is an electrifying and enjoyable experience for those who enjoy travelling the road on two wheels. Donning on their mens motorcycle jackets with the cool wind blowing their face and getting the adrenaline rush gushing in their body, these are just some of the thrills of motorbiking for some people.

While riding a motorcycle can be a fun and faster way of getting around compared to taking a car, it presents distinct disadvantages and advantages compared to using a car as you everyday vehicle. For some people, just wanting a motorcycle is good reason enough for buying one. However, there are other benefits to owning a motorcycle other than fulfilling a wish. The following reasons may help you convince others that buying a motorcycle is more than just getting what you want.

Cost: It is obvious that a motorcycle is a much more cost- efficient purchase compared to a car. This is true across various brands and models of moped motorcycles unless you’re looking to buy a superbike, BMW bike or a Harley Davidson. Even the cheapest car costs almost 10 times more than a brand new, typical motorcycle. When it comes to servicing the bike, one can just go to a motorcycle tire shop, which shouldn’t cost a bomb, unlike servicing a car.

Better Fuel Efficiency: With the price of fuel rising, driving a motorcycle can save a substantial amount of money, while being better for the environment. A mid-sized motorcycle usually burns about 35 to 60 mpg, depending on whether you do most of your driving in town or on an open road.

Environmentally Friendly: Motorcycles use less fuel and produce less carbon emissions than four-wheeled vehicles. Enjoy the fresh air in your face while feeling pleased that you are contributing to cleaner air while driving a motorcycle.

Tolls: If you live in a state with plenty of tolls, you can save quite a bit of money by driving on two wheels.

Insurance: Motorcycle insurance is considerably lower than automobile insurance. For those with a good driving record, motorcycle insurance averages a couple hundred dollars a year, while car insurance can easily cost over a thousand dollars. That’s a lot of savings there!

A note of advice: while you ride on your mean machine, don’t forget to don on the appropriate motorcycle apparels for your own safety. These are your motorcycle helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. See more of motorcycle gear by clicking on the link.

Even if some people might not think it is practical to own a motorcycle, riding one is a whole lot of fun besides reaping all the benefits stated above.
