A Fee by Any Other Name: The Difference Between Duties and Taxes

When you’re importing goods into your country, it’s important to understand the difference between duties and taxes. Duties are charges applied to specific items, while taxes apply to the total value of your purchase.

Import duties are from customs officials when goods enter a country, and they vary depending on the type of good and its value. Customs duties can add a significant cost to your purchase, so it’s important to be aware of them before you buy. In this article, we’ll break down the differences between duties and taxes.

What Are Taxes?

Taxes are charges applied to the total value of a purchase. They’re collected by the government and used to fund public services, such as education and infrastructure.

There are many different types of taxes, which vary from country to country. Some common examples include income tax, sales tax, and property tax.

How much you pay in taxes depends on your income and how much you spend on taxable goods and services. In most cases, the more money you make, the higher your tax rate will be.

What Are Duties?

Duties apply specifically to certain items. They’re imposed by customs officials when goods enter a country, and they vary depending on the type of good and its value.

Customs duties can add a significant cost to your purchase, so it’s important to be aware of them before you buy.
In some cases, duties don’t exist if the good is of cultural or historical significance. For example, ancient artifacts are often exempt from customs duties.

It’s important to note that duties and taxes are two different things. Taxes apply to the total value of your purchase, while duties apply specifically to certain items.

Duties can add a significant cost to your purchase, so it’s important to be aware of them before you buy. In most cases, the more money you make, the higher your tax rate will be. However, there is no set correlation between income and tax rates, as each country sets its own rates.

What Are The Different Types Of Duties?

There are three main types of duties:

The first type is customs duties. These are from customs officials when goods enter a country. They vary depending on the type of good and its value.

The second type is excise duties: These are taxes charged on certain items, such as alcohol or tobacco products.

The last type is a value-added tax (VAT). This is a type of sales tax that applies to the total value of a purchase. It’s collected by the government and used to fund public services, such as education and infrastructure.

What Are Tariffs?

Tariffs are a type of customs duty set on goods imported into a country. They’re used to protect the domestic industry of the country, and they vary depending on the type of good and its value.

In most cases, tariffs increase as the value of the good increases. This means that high-value items can be subject to significant tariffs when they enter a country.

How Are Duties And Taxes Calculated?

In most cases, the value of the good sets customs duties and taxes. This means that you’ll pay more in duties and taxes as the price of the good increases.

However, this varies from country to country. Some countries use a flat rate system, while others charge duties and taxes based on the number of goods imported into a country.

Different countries have their own regulations when it comes to setting duties and taxes.

What Are Taxes And Duties Based On?

In most cases, duties and taxes are based on the value of the good. This means that you’ll pay more in duties and taxes as the price of the good increases, according to Sobel Network.

However, this varies from country to country. Some countries use a flat rate system, while others charge duties and taxes based on the number of goods being imported.

What Is An Import Duty?

In most cases, countries base taxes and duties on the value of imported goods. This means that you’ll pay more in duties and taxes as the price of the good increases.

However, this varies from country to country. Some countries use a flat rate system, while others charge duties and taxes based on imported goods.

What Is An Excise Duty?

An excise duty is a type of tax that is charged on certain items, such as alcohol or tobacco products. It’s used to raise revenue for the government and to protect the domestic industry of the country.

These are also very specific and different based on the country you’re doing business in.

How Are Duties And Taxes Collected?

In most cases, duties and taxes are collected by the government. This means that you’ll need to pay them when you go to pick up your purchase.

However, some countries allow duties and taxes to be paid at the time of importation. This can save you money, as it prevents you from having to pay the tax again when you receive your purchase.

It’s important to note that duties and taxes are two different things. Taxes are charged on the total value of your purchase, while duties are applied specifically to certain items.

What Is A Value-Added Tax?

A value-added tax (VAT) is a type of sales tax that is charged on the total value of a purchase. It’s collected by the government and used to fund public services, such as education and infrastructure.

It’s important to note that a VAT is different from other types of sales tax. While other taxes are charged on the price of the good, a VAT is charged on the total value of the purchase.

Your Market Guide: How Laundromat Businesses are Adapting

Laundromats have been around forever. And in 2022, the demand for high-quality laundromats isn’t diminishing. Millions of Americans live in apartments or dorm rooms that are too small to house their own laundry units.

Week after week, countless American families need to use public laundromats, making the laundromat business model ever so appealing.

But basic, bland, and outdated laundromat businesses are being replaced by modern, high-tech, comfortable laundromats. If you plan on starting your own laundromat, you need to know how the laundry industry is changing, and what customers expect when using a laundromat.

No longer can you get by using traditional business strategies, or you’ll be eaten by the competition. Read on to learn what changes you can expect to see in the laundry business to ensure you separate your facility from all the others in town.

Buy the Right Equipment

The most important thing you can do to launch a successful laundry business is to buy or lease the right equipment. You need the highest quality commercial laundry machines if you plan on being competitive in 2022.

People don’t want to wait around at the laundromat all day. They don’t have time to perform multiple loads. They need to get in and get out as quickly as possible.

The best washers and dryers can fit much larger loads than residential machines, wash and dry much faster, and do it all day, every day. Check out Laundrysouth.com to view the highest quality machines on the market today.

Choosing energy-efficient machines is also a big benefit. While they might be more expensive up front, they will save you money every single day, since utility costs are one of your biggest laundromat expenses.

Plus, you can use energy efficiency in your laundry marketing. While many consumers won’t go out of their way to choose an eco-friendly alternative, they’ll gladly choose an eco-friendly company over a non-eco-friendly company if it’s still convenient for them.

Consider Adding Solar Power

Another way you can go green, save money, add a message to your marketing, and invest in business innovation is to add solar power to your laundromat. This expense is definitely worth it in certain areas, like the South or the Southwest where sunshine is the norm most of the year.

If you have a private rooftop, adding solar panels can make sense. But if you’re in a larger city and are surrounded by taller buildings, it might not be worth it.

And you don’t even have to completely replace your utility costs. Any amount of solar panels will save you money. Plus, you may qualify for some business tax breaks for adding solar panels.

Make Your Building Comfortable

Most people avoid laundromats because they are dirty, uncomfortable, and lack any features that would make for a nice visit. But if you want to stand out from the crowd in 2022, you need to invest in your facility.

The exterior of your laundromat should be clean, modern, and inviting. Don’t make it look like a typical laundromat. But make it look like a business that would catch a customer’s eye and cause them to peek inside.

On the inside of the building, create a comfortable space with bright paint colors and modern flooring. You can work with a local artist to paint murals on the wall to make the building more fun.

Invest in comfortable chairs, since many people will wait around for their laundry to finish. Add some tables, similar to a coffee shop, so that customers can do their homework, work on their computers, or play card games while they wait.

Add different types of vending machines. Yes, soda and candy are fine, but people want options these days. Include drinks like juice and sparkling water. And add healthier snack options.

Electronic Payments for Laundromat Businesses

Quarter machines were the standard for decades. But few people want to carry around physical quarters anymore, especially since it usually costs more than a dollar to use a laundry machine.

You need to continue offering cash payments. But you should also include electronic payments as well. Allow customers to pay with their preferred methods, such as debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and so forth.

Sure, you need to pay processing fees. But you’ll have more customers this way. And customers will likely do more loads of laundry this way.

You can even offset the cost of processing fees to the customer, adding $0.25 if you use electronic payments. Most users will be happy to add an extra quarter this way.

Using electronic payment methods also gives you the option of creating a loyalty program to increase repeat visits.

Choose Your Location Strategically

One of the best things you can do to ensure success is to choose a smart business location. You want to be on a block where your customers want to come and hang out at for an hour or two.

Good neighboring businesses include coffee shops, grocery stores, hair salons, arcades, and other businesses where customers would normally stay for over an hour.

And since these locations are very difficult to find, it might be worth partnering with other businesses to launch a shared facility. This is one of the best ways to create a disruption in franchising.

Rather than opening just one business, partner with other complementary businesses to open one larger facility. Part of that can be your laundromat. But then your customers can walk next door and hang out at a coffee shop, or schedule their hair appointment while they do their laundry.

You can add a child’s play place, or an area out back that feels like a park. By combining multiple businesses that support each other, you can create a better experience for your customers and increase your overall traffic.

Launching a Better Business

The need for laundromat businesses is going to last a long time. And we don’t need any more dirty, sketchy laundromats where people feel uncomfortable. Those will soon be gone, replaced by laundromats that understand sound business principles and create a positive customer experience.

And hopefully, that’s exactly what you’re going to do.

5 Key Performance Indicators of the Automotive Service Industry

A survey shows that 98% of owners think that their businesses have a chance of growth. However, only 20% of these business owners have a concrete plan on how to do it.

Just one in three of these business owners set aside time to polish their business growth plans. As a visionary business owner, you must be part of those who work on their growth plans. But, once you have a plan, what performance indicators do you use?

Key performance indicators (KPIs) are vital in understanding your business. They inform you of your business’s health. Read on to discover significant performance indicators of the automotive service industry.

1. Revenue per Billable Hour

A good chunk of a business’ costs is labor. Therefore, the most important performance indicators for a business in the service industry are labor KPIs. They indicate the period it takes for an employee to reach peak productivity.

They also show the best time to get new hires. Revenue per billable hour is a simple to use metric. It divides the total revenue from labor sales by total billed hours by labor.

This performance indicator tells you the amount of revenue generated per billable hour. Service managers in the automotive service industry must calculate this rate often. It will help them determine if any modifications are required.

The calculated rate tells service managers if the prices are appropriate. For example, if revenues are lower than billable hours, it would be good to check on prices.

With this KPI, they can also tell how well services and the hiring procedure are managed.

2. Customer Retention

Keeping customers satisfied and happy is the best strategy in a service provider’s tool belt. A 5% rise in the rate of a company’s customer retention rate can result in a 75% rise in its profitability.

The customer retention rate tells you the proportion of existing clients who enlist your services over a particular period. This metric lets you know if your loyalty marketing tactics are effective or not. Companies in the automotive service industry measure the retention rate differently but the end goal is similar.

For a service manager, customer retention can pose the greatest challenge. Because it involves people, managing their loyalty to your service requires tact. To retain customers, service managers can establish systems that ensure consistency in the service provided by employees.

Providing great, uniform service encourages customers to come back over and over.

Focusing on customer retention is also an effective marketing tactic. There is a high chance that loyal clients will refer others to your business. This lowers the amount you spend on new customer acquisition efforts.

3. Gross Profit Percent

The gross profit percent informs you what amount of profit you made as a share of total revenue. Normally, profit is calculated by deducting all service-related costs from the revenue. For a business in the service industry, it follows the same principle.

Here, gross profit is determined by subtracting the amount paid to a technician from the revenue they generate by completing an order. Consider a case where a service generates $300 in revenue generated by the labor. The technician is paid $70.

The gross profit is $230. The gross profit percentage is obtained by dividing $230 by $300. In this example, it is 76.7%.

Gross profit percent tells you how successful your business is. It also brings to light your shop’s growth year on year. To measure your business’s long-term success, you need to use gross profit percent as a performance metric.

This performance indicator also reveals how appropriately you priced services, managed expenses, and oversaw operations.

4. Time per Repair Order

Are you aware of the number of repair orders your shop carries out daily? It is vital to understand the number of repair orders completed over a particular period. Doing so gives you a basis for assessing trends.

This performance indicator allows you to gauge if a job was completed in the allocated time. If it wasn’t, it calls for a review. If the job took longer than anticipated, you may need to charge more for the service.

Measuring the time spent per repair order is a good determinant of the shop’s profitability. Also, making the most of each repair order ensures there is sufficient work for each technician. A profitable service business focuses on employee satisfaction.

This ensures every technician’s earning capacity increases their work satisfaction. This enhances their productivity and the business’s profitability.

If not correctly priced, a higher number of repair orders don’t always equate to greater profitability. However, the performance indicator is still significant in comprehending your business’ growth.

5. Lead Time

Lead time refers to the period a client has to wait before their car can be attended to. A relatively short time is normally expected by customers. A major exception is when the car has critical issues that need immediate attention.

Getting a shop management system like Tekmetric can help you monitor lead time. Longer lead times are not easily accepted or understood by clients. It usually results in customers seeking the service elsewhere permanently.

Some aspects impact the length of the lead time. They include the availability of courtesy vehicles, collection, and delivery of serviced cars. If the length of the lead time is consistently long, you need to assess the issue.

You can check on the shop’s capacity. You could also hire more technicians. It may also mean that you need to review the courtesy car process.

However, if the lead time is nearly non-existent, you need to ramp up customer retention efforts.

Choose Relevant Performance Indicators

Tracking performance indicators help you compare current trends to past trends. This aids in determining the progress of a business towards achieving its goals. KPIs are especially important in the automotive service industry.

Through them, you can adjust your operations accordingly to make sure you achieve business goals. Some important KPIs in the industry include revenue per billable hour and customer retention. They also include gross profit percent, time per repair order, and lead time.

Key performance indicators help businesses attain operational efficiency. Interested in learning more about business and the automotive industry? Browse this page today for more insights into the topics.

How Are the Best American Flags Actually Made in Practice?

When it comes to the history behind any object, we can never know the truth for certain. While it is likely that Betsy Ross did, in fact, sew the first American flag in the late 1770s, the story we know now is up for debate.

Yet, the objects themselves can reveal some of their history to us when we know what to look for. This is the case with the ever-evolving process of creating American flags.

So, how have American flags evolved? How are the best American flags made today?

Let’s dive deeper into the history of the American flag by looking at the flags of the past and of today. Read on to learn more.

How Were the Earliest American Flags Made?

When we examine the earliest American flags, we come to find the use of four specific fabrics: silk, cotton, wool, and linen. Synthetic fabrics were not yet available and these natural textiles were used depending on factors including availability and the intended purpose of the flag in question.

Silk, an expensive and delicate material, was reserved primarily for the military or for special occasions. Wool bunting was, at the time, the ideal fabric for most American flags, but it wasn’t always easy to procure.

In the late 1700s and early 1800s, it wasn’t uncommon for households to sew their own flags. Cotton was the most widely available material for families to access, and so most flags were made from cotton. Cotton, however, was not as durable or sturdy as wool, and therefore didn’t last as long.

Rarely were entire flags made of linen. However, linen was a sturdy material that was often used to create the stars that would be sewn onto the upper left-hand side.

As you can imagine, the earliest American flags were sewn by hand. As a result, you’ll likely notice unique qualities or irregularities when examining the earliest American flags. (Plus, the design wasn’t quite what we see today–the stars were fewer and the arrangement of the design went through a few changes.)

Dying Fabric for Early American Flags

Natural textiles are, initially, the color of the materials used to make them. The materials that were used to create flags ranged from white to off-white and therefore required dying.

Just like Americans at this time didn’t have access to synthetic fabrics, they also did not have access to synthetic dyes. The root of the madder plant or the oils of the female cochineal insect helped to create red fabrics. Indigo or woad plants helped to create blue fabrics.

American Bunting and Lincoln’s Law

Ironically, the wool bunting that many flag makers preferred to use came from England. In other words, Americans would have to import their American flag materials from the very country they’d won their independence from.

In 1865, President Abraham Lincoln signed into law an act that put an end to some of this English importing. The new law proclaimed that flags created for Federal use must be made from American-made bunting.

American Flags of the Modern Era

Fast-forward a few centuries, and making American flags is much easier. With the rise of things like petrochemical-based dyes and modern sewing technology, it’s easy to mass-produce American flags that look far more consistent.

That said, there are still distinct differences in the types of flags we see today. Let’s take a look at the types of fabrics and methods that are used to make modern American flags.

Indoor Decorative Flags

Today, it’s not impossible to find American flags made of synthetically-dyed cotton. In fact, flags designed for indoor display are often made of cotton. This is because cotton creates a desirable look and, when hung indoors, will last for quite a long time.

Indoor decorative flags can be more delicate than flags designed for outdoor use. Oftentimes, the blue square and red and white stripes are made of a single piece of fabric dyed in different colors. The stars are sewn on separately.

The Best American Flags for Outdoor Use

What if you want to fly a flag outdoors? Start by looking for high-quality flag poles for sale. Then, you’ll need a flag that can stand up to the elements for quite a long time.

The best American flags for outdoor use are made of either nylon or polyester. Interestingly enough, polyester is the more expensive option as it is a thicker and more durable material. Nylon, however, is still the material of choice for most American flags.

Why is nylon considered preferable? It has a shinier appearance and it “snaps” in the wind, producing that regal and attention-grabbing look and sound that we want from our high-flying American flags. Plus, modern UV protection and weather protection coatings make nylon more durable than it used to be.

Spotting Cheaply Produced American Flags

A high-quality American flag designed for outdoor use will, like indoor flags, consist of one large piece of dyed fabric with separate stars sewn on. Cheaper American flags are 100% printed onto the same piece of fabric.

You can also spot a cheap American flag by the flag material. Cheap American flags are made of a thin, semi-transparent plastic material. They tend to tear or fade after a short period of time.

Fly the Best American Flags With Pride

The history of our flag is quite legendary and some of the stories we know may, in fact, consist of legends. However, we can learn plenty about the history of the American flag by looking at the flags, themselves. The best American flags will last for months or years, depending on where you keep them and what type of climate they’re facing.

Construction Tips 101: 5 Ideal General Contractor Bidding Software That You Must Know About

group of person on stairs

The contractor bidding process involves submitting bid forms or proposals to the owners, construction managers, or general contractors. Usually, general contractors or site managers implore construction bids from subcontractors by sending them bid invitations. Today, there are several contractor bidding softwares accessible to choose from. This article will discuss the top five platforms and how they can help you with your construction business:

1. BeamsBuild

BeamsBuild is a top estimating and contractor bidding software. It was initially developed to work with digital drawings in various formats and files from computer-aided designs. Modern estimators have forgone traditional paper-based measurements and replaced them with digital quantification to make tasks easier.

With BeamsBuild, you can easily import your digital site plans to generate a take-off with just a click of a button. The software also performs several essential functions other than bidding and estimating. Using BeamsBuild, you can create quotes, schedule site activities, track jobs, and manage variations and purchase orders. You can also create financial reports for assessing cash flow and budgeting.

2. PlanSwift

PlanSwift is built solely for construction estimators and builders. It is semi-automated software that allows contractors to import digital blueprints to mark plans and measure quantities on a take-off screen. Using this platform, a builder can prepare bids and RFPs every now and then to get work. Taking measurements off a blueprint is quite time-consuming, so if contractors are serious about winning the jobs they’ve bid on, they must reduce the time spent in taking off quantities.

In addition to enabling quick take-off, PlanSwift can help contractors generate material lists and cost items for labour. Using this software, contractors can import estimates to Microsoft Excel. It even has a function to integrate with other external software, for example, a pricing application.

3. Assignar

Assignar is a platform that helps self-perform contractors and subcontractors optimize operations. As a result, it helps improve productivity, profitability, safety, and quality in the worksite and the office. Built by highly-skilled professionals, Assignar is an innovative platform that replaces paper, spreadsheets, and single-point solutions. It allows real-time tracking and visibility and provides control over site operations. Subcontractors and general contractors with self-perform capabilities generally use Assignar for their operations.

The best part about using Assignar is being able to work from anywhere! Especially in the current times of COVID-19, the platform has been a lifesaver and has allowed contractors all over Australia to work from home. The scheduler feature that comes with Assignar is also one of the best in the market.

4. EasyPricePro

EasyPricePro is an estimating and bidding platform made for contractors and merchants. One of the major tasks critical to the success of a construction company is winning tenders and clients through competitive project pricing. Many contractors don’t understand how to price a project. This is where EasyPricePro comes in.

EasyPricePro is a platform that allows contractors to produce professional reports, make estimates and create bid proposals. This software promises to reduce the time contractors spend preparing estimates by as much as 80%, which boosts productivity and efficiency.

5. BuildXact

Lastly, BuildXact is cloud-based bidding and estimating software that contractors can access using their computers, smartphones, or tablets. It was specially made for builders and trade contractors like joinery roofers and plumbers. This software comes with Cordell’s Builders Database, Australia’s most-sought database for construction sites, renovations, and properties.

BuildXact software provides the ability to do quick digital take-offs based on 3D models. Just by analysing the plan view of the construction site, contractors can produce a quick estimate. After producing an estimate for a project, they can prepare quotes via the software. Like other contractor management software, BuildXact can help contractors prepare and manage purchase orders and create invoices and cost jobs.

Final Words

If you are looking for ideal construction bidding and estimating software that is affordable and easy to use, provides instant access, allows contractors to get more productive, and helps manage site operations, pick a platform from this list!

5 Tips for Collecting Custom Coins

Collecting custom coins is a popular hobby among the young and old. Not least because of the potential thrill of happening upon rare collector items, like the 1933 Double Eagle that sold for a whopping $18.9 million in 2021!

For those of you thinking of starting your own coin collection, patience and knowledge are both necessary for your collection to thrive. But often, there are other more important things to keep in mind when growing your collection.

Let’s take a look at some top coin collector tips to help you get started!

1. Remember Your Motivation

You’ve chosen to collect coins for a reason. It might be because you like the designs of Metal Promo challenge coins. Or maybe you want to continue your late grandad’s collection of foreign coins. Whatever has inspired you, keeping it in mind will ensure that your collection remains a true reflection of your original motivation.

2. Avoid Overspending

Staying true to your original motivation also means collecting coins you like rather than for their potential monetary value. Often, beginners can make the mistake of laying down a bundle of cash for a coin that’s not worth as much as they’d hoped.

Instead, take your time, keep to a budget, and research as much as you can. This way, you’ll be more likely to make informed decisions when you do buy a new coin.

3. Take Care of Your Coins

Metal coins are a lot more low-maintenance than many other collectibles. That said, you’ll still need to take care of your coins to avoid them getting tarnished. This means regular cleaning with specific coin-cleaning products, storing them in a cool, dry environment, and only ever handling them on the edges.

4. Talk to Other Coin Collectors

Collecting coins is a passion that many people share, making this hobby great for connecting to others. How to Start a Vending Machine Business: The Key Steps

There are about 4.6 million vending machines in the US that make approximately $7 billion annually. Starting a vending machine is an amazing side hustle to earn you some extra income on the side. A vending machine is easy to maintain and doesn’t take up too much of your time, so you can focus on other things.

If you’re looking to start a vending machine business but have no clue where to start, we’re here to help. Today, we’ll be highlighting a few key steps to starting a vending machine for some extra income.

The Preliminaries

The first step in starting a vending machine business is figuring out how you want to do it. Your options basically boil down to two ways; buying a vending machine franchise or starting a new vending machine business. You can also buy an existing vending machine business if you wish to.

Regardless of what you choose, it’s important to hire an attorney to help you with the legalities of buying a vending machine. With all that down pat, you can move to the next step.

Decide What You Want To Sell

It’s crucial to do tons of market research to determine what products you’ll sell with your vending machine. Some products, like snacks, sell well regardless of location. However, others only sell to a select group of people in specific locations.

If you don’t want to sell food, here’s a list of other items you can sell with your vending machine:

  • Laundry supplies
  • Hair and skincare products
  • Hygiene products
  • Dog treats
  • Stationeries
  • CBD products

There are tons of other products you can sell with your vending machine. You can pick anything as long as it appeals to your target audience. If you’re looking to sell health products, you can check out HealthyYou vending reviews to help you pick the right vending machine.

Choose The Vending Machine Features

Once you figure out what you want to sell, the next step is to determine the vending machine features you want. Some of these features include:

  • LED lighting
  • Intercate and voice-assisted screens
  • Credit and debit card acceptance

These are some of the many features you could have in your vending machine. Make sure you buy a vending machine with features that are actually useful.

Determine The Location For Your Vending Machine

Placement is a crucial factor when setting up a vending machine business. Vending machines do well in specific places like:

  • Shopping malls
  • Universities
  • Schools
  • Apartment developments
  • Train stations

Where you place your vending machine will determine how many people will buy it. Put a lot of thought into where you place your vending machine.

Choose A Business Name

If you didn’t buy a franchise or an existing vending machine business, you’ll have to pick a name for your business. Make sure you pick a catchy name that resonates with your target audience.

Start A Vending Machine Business Today

There’s no better time to start a vending machine business than right now. Make sure you do your homework to find the best vending machine to invest in. Starting a business requires patience, but with time, you’ll make a killing from your vending machine business.

The Best High Protein Snacks for Healthy Eating on the Go

The US obesity rate has been steadily increasing for the last 40 years, and the COVID 19 outbreak hasn’t improved things. The good news is that we’re also experiencing a move towards health and demand for healthier food options.

Among the many options, people are switching to are high protein snacks. Protein plays a few different roles in a healthy diet, helping us gain muscle and lose fat. This is because muscles naturally burn more calories than fat.

While diet alone won’t help you build muscles, it can be effective when combined with exercise. Naturally, some high protein snacks are better than others, and we’ll discuss some of our favorites in this article.

1. Trail Mix

How many times have we heard trail mix being mentioned? How many different varieties of trail mix are there? Either way, the answer is a lot.

The exact origin of trail mix is disputed, and several different inventors have been suggested, but the most likely origins were Native Americans thousands of years ago, and the Danish in the 1700s. The two cultures’ versions of trail mix evolved independently of each other.

Though it comes in many forms, trail mix is usually a mixture of various nuts and raisins, with yogurt, chocolate, or dried fruit sometimes added.

2. Jerky

When we think of protein, we often think of meat, and the best type of meat for those on the go is jerky. Jerky has a lot going for it when it comes to snacks. For instance, it’s high in protein but lacks the fat content of most meats.

This is because the fat is cut out of the meat before it is salted and dehydrated to make jerky. Whether you’re a buyer or a vendor, jerky is worth looking into.

If you are in need of vending services but don’t know where to get them, we can help. You can find out more about a reliable vending service by clicking the link.

3. Meat Roll-Ups

Much like jerky, meat roll-ups come in many different forms from turkey to ham and there are probably other variations as well. One of the best things about meat roll-ups is that they’re easy to scale.

They’re often served as an appetizer, but you can make a full-sized wrap or sandwich out of them if you want. In most cases, it’s just a matter of not cutting it into small pieces.

Meat roll-ups are only as healthy as their ingredients. While you can experiment with your own recipes, be careful about what you put in them.

The Best High Protein Snacks for Those on the Go

Choosing high protein snacks can do a lot for your overall health. The best snacks build muscle and muscle burn fat faster. We must reiterate that healthy snacks will do nothing without the aid of exercise.

We’ve discussed some of our favorite protein snacks in this article, but there are virtually infinite other options that we didn’t have the space for in this article.
